Wilson Trophy (all winners) – Restricted to all medal and trophy winners during the season.

Texas Scramble

3 woman team – 4 drives, 1/9 total handicap
4 woman team – 3 drives, 1/16 total handicap

 

Medals

Draw all silver together.

Draw all bronze together. Stroke play.

Championship qualifiers – draw in strict handicap order.

Peugot Coronation Foursomes Competitors can choose their partners.  ½ combined handicap.£3 entry. Stableford. Max handicap 36.2 ball format (alternate drives and alternate shots)

 

Cancer Relief

Stroke play.

 

Caird Trophy

Stroke play.

 

Henry Gray Trophy

Stroke play.

 

Millennium Trophy

Stroke play.

 

Abacus Trophy

Stroke play.

 

Captains Prize

Trophy for Silver and bronze.

Barry Trophy

Greensomes. Both drive then alternate shots.
Handicap, 0.6 of lower + 0.4 of higher. Competitors can choose partners.

Eclectic consisting of 6 rounds. 1st and last are on
Set competition dates.

Stroke play.

4 ball better ball. Full handicap. Record gross for
each player and best net. Stroke play.

 

Daily Mail Foursomes

Club must be registered by 31st January of following year.

Competitors can choose their partners.  ½ combined handicap. Handicap limit 30.

2 ball format (alternate drives and alternate shots)

Wilson Trophy

Trophy restricted to all trophy winners during the
season. Stroke play.

 

Stewart Trophy

Trophy open to all members who have not won a
trophy during the season.Stroke play.

 

12 Hole Comp

3 clubs and a putter. Stroke play.

 

Breakthrough Brooch

Presented to winner of September medal.
Stroke play.
Brown Cup Knockout. Match play.
2 Ball Knockout. Match play. 2 ball format.
Winter eclectic Eclectic
Winter 4 ball 4 ball better ball. 90% handicap.
Invitation Greensomes Both drive, then alternate shots. Handicap, 0.6 of lower + 0.4 of higher.
Champion of Champions Fife (1st Sunday in September at Burntisland) Scratch and handicap club champions can apply to enter.
Silver and Bronze Medal Area Finals. Silver and Bronze medal winners can apply to enter. Clubs no longer informed. Information on Scottish Golf website.

 

Ladies Competitions Draw

The ladies draw will be completed every Thursday PM

•             1 copy on the notice board

•             1 copy to the pro

Anyone who misses the draw can phone the pro who will add them at the end of the draw.

Anyone pulling out should phone the pro. The pro can then adjust the draw so ladies are going out in sensible groups keeping to the draw as much as possible. (Play will be in 3s when possible and 2s if necessary. Four balls are only allowed in foursomes, Greensomes or four ball better ball competitions). Monthly medals and club championship qualifiers are separate silver and bronze draws. All other competitions are mixed draws. Alternate day format will operate at the start and end of every season to enable as many members as possible get the opportunity to play in competitions.

*Ladies will pay £2 entry before getting their card and if they wish 50p for magic 2s. 4 balls are not allowed on the course up to 30mins before a ladies competition.

ONCE THE DRAW IS HANDED OVER TO THE PRO SHOP ANY CHANGES BECOME THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PRO.
